FAISON – Judy Bowling Talton, 80, passed away on Wednesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Wade Bowling and Wilda Etta Thompson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11th at 11:30 am in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Sandy Grove Cemetery, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:15 am at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Sheron C. Talton; sons, Johnny Talton of Whittier, Jimmy Talton (April) of Bear Creek, Jerry Talton (Amie) of Stella, Jeff Talton (Ellen) of Dunn, and Andrew Talton (Kalan) of Faison; sister, Paula Wall (Shelby) of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Morgan Parido (Paul), Samantha Landry (David), Noah Talton, Catie Talton, Emmaline Talton, Joshua Talton, Garrett Talton, Camille Talton, Layla Talton, Gentry Talton, Harlan Talton, Wilson Talton, Clint Talton, and Waylon Talton; great-granchildren, Titus Parido, Henry Parido, Ellie Parido, James Parido, Quinn Landry, and Ezra Landry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Thompson; brothers, Wade Bowling, Ted Bowling, and Rodney Bowling.
