ANGIER – Judy Mae Williams Wilkins, 85, passed away on Saturday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Maggie Carter Williams.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 13th at Kennebec Baptist Church, Angier. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
Judy is survived by her sons, Johnny Fortin (Jean) of Angier, and Joe Wilkins (Theresa) of Coats; sisters, Kramer W. Sullivan of Angier, Janet W. Smith of Angier, Gloria McLamb of Angier, Becky W. Currin (Wilson) of Angier, Brenda W. Stephenson of Four Oaks; brother, J. M. Williams of Angier; grandsons, Ashley Wilkins (Kate) of Coats, Johnny Joe Fortin (Anastasia) of Willow Spring; granddaughters, Elizabeth Wilkins and Remington Fortin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, George Wilkins; son, Buster Wilkins; sisters, Estelle W. Baker, Dorothy “Dot” W. Wood, and Pearl W. Grady; and brother, Junior Williams.
