Julian “Mitch” Parrish

WILLOW SPRING – Julian “Mitch” Leon Parrish, 75, passed away on Tuesday morning at his home. A loving and wonderful husband and father, Mitch had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone around him laugh. A native of Johnston County, he was educated in Clayton schools and was the son of the late Lavell Parrish and Dorothy Jones Parrish. In addition to his parents, Mitch was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Parrish. Mitch is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Parrish; daughter, Ginger Bryant (Robert) of Angier; sons, Ricky Leon Parrish (Angie) of Smithfield, Terry Allen Parrish of Benson, Mitch Hamilton Parrish of Smithfield; three sisters; brother, Lavon Parrish (Pam) of Poway, CA; grandchildren, Tommy Holland (Callie) of Spring Hill, KS, Justin Strickland (Brittney) of Sumter, SC, Sandra Parrish Wise of Angier; ten great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Max. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1459 White Memorial Church Rd. Willow Spring, NC 27592. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier.
