Julian Stephen Lanning

Julian “Steve” Lanning, 76, beloved husband, brother, father, PawPaw, and friend passed from this life to his heavenly reward April 22, 2021. Steve was a warm, loving, outgoing man who never met a stranger. He cherished his family, his church and his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Mary Lanning. He is survived by Donna, his wife of 55 years, two sons Jeff (Heather), Michael (Faith) and 4 grandchildren, Josh, Matt, Hunter and Lillie. He was the oldest of 5 children: Bill (Ann), Janie Lewis (Gene), LouAnn and Bobby (Stephanie). He will be missed everyday and we will enjoy sharing family stories for a long time to come. “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’” Matt 25:23.
