Karen Hedrick

November 25, 1960 — March 15, 2025

Karen Lee Barber Hedrick, 64, of Garner, NC., passed away March 15, 2025 after a long illness. Born November 25, 1960 in Beckley, WV., Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Charles and Edith Faye Barber. Mrs. Hedrick was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She specialized in new construction, working with some of the best local builders. She would also oversee complete subdivisions for some land owners. Through the years she achieved awards for annual listing and sales amounts. She continued her education in the Real Estate business and became a 'Broker' before she had to retire because of her health.

Karen had a great love of Snow Leopards, she sponsors these beautiful animals through the WWF and Snow Leopard Conservancy, which helps to protect these great cats from poachers.
