Katharine Alexandra Glover

Katharine Alexandra Warlick Glover went to her heavenly home Sunday morning December 9, 2018. She was born 9-27-56 in Raleigh NC to Robert B and Norma Jean Chambers Warlick. Katherine was a loving, caring and selfless mother, wife and daughter. She loved working on crafts, enjoyed reading, writing and going antique shopping. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. Her strong Christian faith contributed to her positive and optimistic outlook on life, even during her battle with leukemia. She worked at Wachovia Bank and Trinity Christian School in Greenville NC, General Parts (CARQUEST) and Advance Auto Parts in Raleigh NC. Katharine was preceded in death by her grandparents Joe and Nina Chambers and Max and Eleanor Warlick both of Raleigh and a sister, Chris Ballard of Jacksonville FL and nephew, Justin Yates of Jacksonville FL. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Sam Glover; daughter, Valerie Glover of Angier; sons, Steven (Bonnie) Glover of Ayden and Brandon (Andrea) Glover of Raleigh; her mother, Norma Jean Chambers of Staunton, VA and father, Robert B. Warlick of Las Vegas, NV; and her niece, Ashley Yates of Jacksonville, FL. The family would like to thank the staff at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield for their transition care. A celebration of her life will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon’s bible ministry or 50-210 Rescue Squad Johnston County or SECU Hospice House, Smithfield.
