It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Kathy McCarty, after a long and painful battle with MSA. She will be mourned by her partner, Anne-Louise Lord, her daughter Joanie (Travis) Havens, her two grandsons, her mother, Joan (Weaver) McCarty, her sister, MaryAnn (Steven) Heiser and brothers Bill (Christine) and Jim (Kathy) McCarty as well as the many friends she made along the way. She passed surrounded by family, friends, love and peace.

Kathy carried joy wherever she went and shared it with everyone she met. She can now put down the pain of MSA and carry joy once more.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at 1014 James Place, Raleigh, NC on Saturday, February 17th at 4pm. RSVP can be sent to Joanie or Anne Louise. Please come ready to dance.
