Kathryn P. "Kathy" Canady

Clayton- Kathryn P. “Kathy” Canady, 71, passed away on Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Jesse Poole and Maggie Capps Poole.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 16th at Aversboro Road Baptist Church, 1600 Aversboro Rd. Garner, NC 27529. The burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Clayton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, December 15th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd. Garner, NC 27529.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, E. Glenn Canady; her beloved son, Erick Kirks and wife, Heather of Raleigh; granddaughter, Emerson Kirks of Raleigh; grandson, Wyatt Kirks of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Mary Poole of Lillington; nieces, Dawn Arnold, Rene Pearce, Sandy Akins, Kim Holder, Tammye Emerson, Kathryn Aswell, Lisa Williams, and Lori Townsend; nephew, Jesse McCoy Poole, Jr...
