Kathy Ann (Delany) Routhier, 69 of Garner, NC went home to be with her Savior after an over two-and-a-half-year battle with pancreatic cancer that was characterized by godly grace and courage. Kathy was born in Whitefield, NH where she lived until moving to Dracut MA at the age of 10. She attended school in Dracut, MA, and then went on to receive a Bachelors in HR Management from Southern NH University.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband Steve of 42 years, and their three sons and spouses, Greg and Sara Routhier, Brian Routhier, Derek and Natalie Routhier, as well as her 5 precious grandchildren, Emma, Remi, Jack, Quinton, and Will, whom she
loved dearly. She is also survived by her mother Audrey (Aham) Dawson, her five brothers and their spouses, Bill Delany, Jim and Sarah Delany, Kevin and Sue Sweeney, John and Jancy Sweeney, Bob Sweeney, and brother-in-law Ted Burkett. Kathy is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, and extended family members, and many close friends.
Kathy is predceded by her father Thomas J. Delany, and stepfather John Sweeney, her sister Carol (Lappin) Burkett, and her brother Michael Sweeney.
Kathy was a born again Christian and faithfully served her Savior at Salem Bible Church, Salem, NH for over 40 years until she and Steve recently moved to NC where they attended Catawba Springs Christian Church in Apex, NC. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 4th followed by a funeral service at 11:00 at Catawba Springs Christian Church. The burial will follow the service at the Catawba Springs Christian Church Cemetery.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 13th beginning at 11:00 am at the Salem Bible Church in Salem, NH.
