Kathy Coble Averette

July 16, 1951 — March 22, 2016

GARNER- Kathy Faye Coble Averette, 64, a native of Garland, NC, died Tuesday. Kathy loved needlepoint and sewing, making beautiful personalized Christmas ornaments. After high school she moved to Garner NC where she enjoyed a career with the SBI, and later worked for Kerr Drugs. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Loving daughter, wife, stepmother, friend and sister, she is survived by her parents Harvey and Evelyn Coble; brother, Darrell Coble all of Garland; spouse of 18 years, Jim Fryett; and step-children, many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Averette and brother, Kenneth Coble. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, and at other times at the home of Jeremy and Holly Fryett, 311 Star Ruby Dr. Knightdale, NC 27545 Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to thank the WakeMed Critical Intensive Care Units for their loving care and devotion to Kathy.
