Kayla Ann Wilson

Kayla Ann Wilson, age 7, of Fuquay-Varina went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 15, 2023, in WakeMed-Raleigh.

She was born on November 5, 2015, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Sean and Jennifer Avery Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters: Alyssa Wilson and Caroline Wilson; her grandparents: Linda Avery and Ken Wilson; her aunt, Krista Watson and her husband, David; her uncles: Derek Avery, Daniel Lane and his wife, Heather, J.P Lane and his wife, Amy, Daryl Wilson, Kenneth Wilson and his wife, Tabitha, and Bryan Wilson and his wife, Jeannie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Deryl Avery, Bonnie Maness Avery, and Patricia Wilson.

Kayla was a first-grade student at Lafayette Elementary School where she always enjoyed Battle of the Books. She loved her family and really enjoyed playing with her sisters and animals. Kayla had a contagious smile that would bring so much joy into your day. She loved to be on the soccer field playing and planting flowers in the yard. Kayla attended and loved her church, Angier Baptist Church especially the praise band and children’s church.

Her graveside service will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Erwin Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
