Kelvin Lee Howell, 47, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Kelvin was born in Garner, North Carolina on October 24, 1972. Kelvin attended Garner Senior High School where he was often known as being the “class clown”. Kelvin will be remembered as the funny guy that loved to make others laugh, as well as the father that loved his children and always did everything he could to ensure their happiness. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 3pm, at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. Friends may pay their respect and Kelvin will lie in state on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 12 - 5pm. Kelvin is survived by the mother of his children, Jacquelyn Howell of 22 years; daughters, McKayla Howell, Andrea Howell and Tonilynn Howell; sons, Tyler Howell and Austin Howell; mother, Judy Bullock of Creedmoor; brother, Kenneth (John) Howell and wife, Amanda of Clayton; brother, Kenny Howell of Garner; brother Robert (Mike) Howell of Clayton, sister Candy Ross and husband Scott of Raleigh; sister Jennifer Rana of Fuquay; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Kelvin was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lee Howell Sr.; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents; and infant daughter Brittany.
