Kenneth Edwin Barnes

Kenneth Edwin Barnes, 54, passed away at home April 3, 2018. Kenneth was a native of Wake Co., son of the late William Murray Barnes and Pauline Sasser Price. During Ken’s illness it was his deep faith in Jesus Christ that got him through. Kenneth worked in the construction business for many years as a house painter. He also proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday April 7, 2018 at Friendly Chapel PFWB Church, Benson. Burial to follow at the Barnes Family Cemetery in Kenly, NC. Along with his father William, Ken was preceded in death by a sister; Carla Moore Kenneth is survived by his wife; Karen Dombrowski Barnes; mother Pauline Sasser Price; sister, Cylynn Barnes and brother; Wayne Barnes and wife Sherry and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
