Kenneth Eugene Robinson

On January 3, 2015, Ken passed away at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Born in Weirton, WV, September 27, 1935, Ken was the fourth son of Edmund and Mary Robinson.  Following a career at Tri-State Electronics in Weirton, he moved to Wheeling, then Youngsville, NC.  An avid gardener and fisherman, he especially enjoyed the fellowship of his church community. Ken is survived by Sue, his wife of 50 years, his children Rachelle (Ross) and Eric, grandchildren Cassandra Lohr and Graden Robinson.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Viewing hours are from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, at Higher Call Christian Church in Raleigh, located at 4900 Thornton Rd., Suite 125. A “Celebration” service will be held at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to HCCC (www.highercall.org), the international ministry he supported for 30 years.
