Kevin Wayne Hooks

APEX - Kevin Wayne Hooks, age 62, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1959 to his late parents, Lonnie Elbert and Elizabeth Turnage. He is survived by Deborah Jean Jones, the love of his life for the past 23 years, two brothers, Donald Hooks and William Barry Hooks and wife Brenda Hooks. He was a grandfather to Brooke M. Bearinger, Austin G. Bearinger and Laura G. Jones, children of Jasper and Sherri Jones, and Serena A. Jones, daughter of Lisa Jones. Kevin’s hobbies included trains and race cars. He enjoyed going to the Selma Train Station. He also attended races at Wake County Speedway. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Bryan Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC.
