Kimberly Anne Kunz

Kimberly Anne Kunz, 52, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, surrounded by her family. Daughter of Catherine Lynn (Slye) Beach and the late Durward Rial Atwood, Kim was born July 10, 1971, in Alexandria, VA.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends following the service from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Kim is survived by the love of her life, Carla Parker; daughters, Erika and Carley Venable; their dog, Sadie, who Kim pampered, even allowing her to ride in the front seat, while she sat in the back; mother, Catherine Lynn (Slye) Beach; brother, Brian Atwood and wife, Brandy; nephews, Iziah and Jaxson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins from her extended Slye Family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to The American Cancer Society or Transitions Hospice.
