Kimberly Dean Cardin

Kim will be remembered by her husband, Ray, her daughter Alexandria, and many family and friends. Kim was born in Raleigh NC, (she said she was once of the first babies born in the new Rex Hospital location) to James and Carolyn Dean. She grew up in Raleigh, graduating from Sanderson High School in 1999. Alex was born in 2001 and was her world! Kim married Ray at Penny Road Church of the Nazarene where they served together. Kim started working at the North Carolina Theatre and fell in love with the people and the shows. She has many friends from the theatre world. Kim loved the children at Penny Road. You could find her teaching, entertaining or sharing her love of smores with the kids. Kim had a love of pink, unicorns (which she points out is mentioned in the Bible) smores, cows, traveling with Ray and Alex. Kim is survived by her husband, Ray and daughter, Alexandria, aunts and uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents James “Jimmy” and Carolyn Dean, her grandmother “Nanny” who helped raise her, in-laws James Raymond Cardin, Irene Monica Cardin. When you come to celebrate Kim’s life please where pink, that is her favorite color! The celebration of life will be at Penny Road Church of the Nazarene, 8509 Penny Road, Raleigh NC 27606 on the 27th of June. Family visitation will be at 2pm the service will start at 3pm.
