Larrie Buffaloe

Garner - James Larrie Buffaloe, 85, passed away May 21, 2011.A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11am at Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Larrie was born to the late B.B. Bud and Bettie Buffaloe.After 35 years of employment, Larrie retired from CP&L.He volunteered as a 4H club leader and also served as a volunteer with the Inter Faith Food Shuttle.Larrie was a lifelong member of Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder and Sunday School Teacher.Larrie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Minnie.Sons Allen and wife Angela, Ricky and wife Phyllis, both of Garner.Grandchildren, Justin and wife Kelda Hobbs, Stephen and wife Kelly Hobbs.Great Grandchildren Cody and Megan Lacks and Kathryn Hobbs.Sister Minnie Tutor Holt of Garner.Brother-in-law Doug Williams of Garner.Several nieces and nephews including four special great nieces, Carsey, Cayli, Caris and Cayden Sutton.In addition to his parents, Larrie was preceded in death by his brothers, Birl, Freeman and Dudley Buffaloe.Sisters, Blanche Edwards and Pattie Williams.The family will receive friends Monday from 6:30 - 8:30PM at Bryan - Lee Funeral Home, Garner.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Chuch, 4926 Fayettville Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
