Larue Olive

FUQUAY-VARINA- LaRue Olive, 89, passed away Saturday. A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Edmund G. Wilson and Lucille Stephenson Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Smith (Randy) of Fuquay-Varina, Judy Krueger of Lillington, Susan Nichols of Fuquay-Varina; sons, Ronald Olive of Fuquay-Varina, Bobby Olive (Kim) of Lillington, and David Olive (Gail) of Benson; seventeen grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and beloved canine companion, Dopey. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 21 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Angier. Burial will immediately follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. For those who would like to pay their respects and sign the register, she will lie in state on Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In addition to her parents, LaRue was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Edward Olive; sisters, Lou Casey and Peggy Harris; brothers, Rudolph Wilson and Glenn Wilson. As a devoted member of Pleasant Union Christian Church, she requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the church at: 2164 Neills Creek Road, Lillington, NC 27546.
