Lawrence Marion "Larry" Wright, Jr.

Lawrence Marion “Larry” Wright, Jr., 75, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023. He was born June 7, 1948 to the late Lawrence Marion, Sr. and Hazel Oliver Wright. Larry always said he was a lucky country boy from Southeast Missouri that joined the telecom industry at age 18 and managed to travel to 37 countries on 6 continents. He loved spending time with his family more than anything.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 6-8PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Donna Wright; children, Raquel Lynne Hoffman and husband, Billy and Lawrence Michael Wright and wife, Katherine; grandson, Michael Alexander Wall; sister, Glenda Wright Waterman; sister in law, Carol Ann Wright; and a niece, Christina Fulton.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Darrell Wright.

Larry will be buried in Poplar Bluff, MO, and the family requests that any flowers sent, be sent to Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff. Time and date of the burial will be announced.
