Lawrence Wesley Liles, Jr.

Lawrence Wesley Liles, Jr., “Wes”, 61, passed away July 31, 2018. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Lawrence Wesley Liles, Sr. and Betty Jean Richardson Liles. He was preceded in death by sister, Leigh Ann Liles, and brother, Lee Richardson Liles. He is survived by daughter Scotlan Snow Liles and son Lawrence Wesley Liles, III, “Wren”, by his loving companion, Beverly Blow, sister, Lawre Liles Johnson (Greg), and nephews, Garrett (fiancé Katherine) and Grant Johnson, Richard, Thomas and John Liles and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Wes will be remembered mostly for his devotion to his family and friends. Like his parents, Wes was a fierce Tarheel fan, which he proudly passed on to his children. He had a sharp wit and a big heart. A service of celebration and remembrance will be held in the chapel at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (831 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604) at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 5. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm prior to the service.
