Leah Earp Avery

Leah Earp Avery, 67, of 90 Dry Brook Circle, passed away Tuesday. A native of HarnettCounty, she was the daughter of the late Roy Cornelius Earp and Myrtle Lee Currin Earp. Leah was a graduate of CampbellUniversity with a degree in Elementary Education.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Ray Avery. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at LakesideMemorialGardens. Surviving are her brother, Dr. Roy Earp and wife, Lynda of WrightsvilleBeach; sister, Angela Earp Newton of Bristol, VA; nephews, Jeffrey Lee Earp, Sr. and wife, Lisa; Dr. Scott Earp and wife, Stephanie, Eddie Newton and niece Becky Newton; great-nieces, Marlin Earp and Catherine Earp; great-nephews, Lee Earp and wife, Dawn, Collins Earp and great-great-niece, Marie Earp. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to E.
