Leah Marie Bowman

I am having the adventure of my life.

My name is Leah Bowman. Though I was born on February 2, 1979, I truly came alive on June 15, 1982, when I came to know Jesus. I decided to follow Jesus with my life and became His warrior princess. That is when my adventures began. I am a part of a big crazy family (20) that I have fiercely loved, my boys, their dad, my parents, sisters, nephews, nieces, a great nephew and nieces—all the amazing grafted in family as well.

Ever since I was a child, I have been a passionate companion and unapologetically me. Jesus gave me an eye for beauty, which took shape in many forms. Whether it was photography, scrap booking, or refurbishing furniture, I love turning seemingly insignificant materials into something beautiful. I spent my time homeschooling my two boys and serving the community through With Love from Jesus Ministries. I never tired of having fun with family and friends; playing games, family vacations and traveling with the people I love brought me the most joy.

I didn’t expect my earthly adventures to end as early as September 12, 2024, however, my new journey has just begun and is allowing me to see my Jesus, walk these golden streets, and be among all the voices cheering on my sweet boys (and many others) to adulthood and beyond.

A celebration of my life will be Thursday October 3, floating from 2-4 at Lake Wheeler conference room and deck,. My desire is that any gifts would be given to With Love From Jesus Ministries (www.withlovefromjesus.org)
