Leamon King Holland

Leamon King Holland, 73, of Old Drug Store Road, passed away Wednesday. A native of Johnston County he was the son of the late James Brodie and Alene King Holland. He was one of the founders of Tarheel Metal Craft in 1965. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Timmy D. Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the Plainview Presbyterian Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Newcomb Holland, children, Ritchie Holland and wife Jill of Garner, Rhonda Toppings and husband, Danny of Garner; Shanda Hairr and husband, Eddie of Smithfield; Sheryl Creech and husband, Kenny of Benson; Donny Holland and wife, Sabrina of Garner, Danny Holland and wife, Shannon of Four Oaks; Tommy Buckley and wife, Jessica of Garner; Christopher Holland and Katie Holland of the home; grandchildren, Michael Parker, Justin Holland, Andrea Toppings, Chance Toppings, Hayden Barefoot, Madelyn Holland, Nathan Holland, Kaleb Creech, Allison Creech, Joshua Creech, Ashley Creech, Aubrey Hairr, Aaron Hairr and Benjamin Buckley; great-grand child, Myles Parker; sister, Kay Holland Rigsbee and husband, Estes of Raleigh, and brother, James Larry Holland of Garner. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Judith Holland, Millie Holland Boyles and her husband, Sam, and Linda Holland Smith and her husband, Jerry. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, and at other times at the home.
