Leamon Wayne Tanner

Leamon Wayne Tanner, 72, of Garner passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Harnett , Co. he was the son of the late Leamon C. and Nadine Lee Tanner. Leamon worked in landscaping for many years and proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 23, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, in Fuquay-Varina with Military Honors. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Barbara Ann Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathie Yarbrough Tanner; sister, Suzie Hill and husband Chuck; brother, Gary Tanner and girlfriend Tammy Andrews, longtime friends Billy and Karen and many beloved nieces and nephews, especially Ava. Leamon will lie in state Monday March 22, 2021 from 1-5 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
