Lee Winford Yount

RALEIGH – Lee Winford Yount, 75, passed away surrounded by family on January 7, 2017. A graduate of Garner High School, he spent of his most of his life in Cary eventually retiring from the US Postal Service. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Faye Yount; son, Ricky Yount and wife, Janet; daughter, Jodie Yount; brother, Mike Yount and wife Charlene; sister, Jessie Gardner and husband Lennie; grandchildren, Luke and Lily Yount; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lee Yount; parents, Paul M. Yount, Sr. and Mattie B. Yount; and a brother, Charles Yount. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 2:45pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner on Friday, January 13, 2017, immediately followed by a memorial service in the Chapel starting at 3:00pm.
