Lemuel C. Hogge

RALEIGH- Lemuel C. Hogge, 89, died Sunday. He was the son of the late Iredell and Emma Parker Hogge. During World War II, he served in the U. S. Navy and retired from N.C. State University with 38 years of service. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Highland Baptist Church, with a visitation from 10-11:00 prior to the service. A private committal service will take place at a later time. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Creech Hogge; sister, Hazel Creech of Clayton and brother, Donnie R. Hogge of Henderson and sister-in-law, Tillie Bradley, of Clayton. He was preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Hogge and brother, Weldon S. Hogge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Baptist Church, Building Fund, 8524 Crowder Road, Raleigh, NC 27603. Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
