Lena Blackmon Norris

DECEMBER 18, 1945 -OCTOBER 13, 2012 ANGIER - Lena Blackmon Norris, 66, passed away on Saturday. A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Blackmon.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Angier Fellowship PFWB Church. Burial will follow at Lakeside MemorialGardens. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Shorty Norris; mother, Margaret Blackmon of Angier; daughters, Penny Reynolds of Angier, Gwen Pleasant and husband, Alan of Benson; brother, Earl Blackmon and wife, Susan of Plantersville, TX; granddaughters, Anna Jo Koch and husband, Joshua of Benson, Paige Dorman and husband, Johnathon of Benson; grandson, Jonathan Matthews of Angier; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Erica Matthews, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from6-8 PM Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angier Fellowship PFWB Church, 100 Tippet Road, Angier NC 27501.
