Lenor Francisco Cooper

Lenor Francisco Cooper passed away Friday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents Basil and Margaret Francisco and daughter Patricia F. Tilley. She is survived by sons; Timothy Cooper and wife Joan and Rick Cooper and wife Wanda both of Clayton; daughters, Deborah Jones and husband Eddie of Vinton, VA. and Pamela Sutterfield and husband George of Raleigh; son-in-law Boone Tilley; grandchildren, Chris Sutterfield and wife Pamela, Christy Rose and husband Ed, Michelle Hogg and husband Jason, Matthew Corbett and wife Celeste, Richard Cooper and wife Ashton and Jordan Cooper. She also has 8 great-grandchildren. Special friends Dr.Ghulam Shaikh and wife Maryia and 3- sons, Carolyn and Eugene Andrews and Nat Partlo. Lenor was an active member or Mount Moriah Baptist Church where she worked with the GA’s for 20 years, served on Altar and Decorations committee and taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Clayton Home Demonstration Club where she held the Office of President for a number of years. She won several awards at the county and state levels for her sewing. She held several different offices while serving with the Raleigh Women’s Bowling Association. She won several bowling awards and the Sportmanship Award. She also loved gardening and flower arranging. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church.. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made to the Mount Moriah Baptist Church Audio Fund.
