Leolia Rosenbalm Hensley

GARNER - Jesus and Genie Poo were there waiting for Leolia Mae as she entered her heavenly home Monday, November 4, 2024.

Leolia “Tippy” Mae Hensley has joined her husband Carl “Gene” in watching down over their three sons, David, Danny (Pam), and Dennis (Angela); grandchildren, Brittany, Spencer (Bri), Justin, Logan, Sierra and Micah and great grandchild Joseph Carl “JC”. Also surviving are sisters Nora Francis McLain (RF) and Naomi Rush (Blackie).

She was preceded in death by her parents,Earl and Cora Dell Harr Rosenbalm; brothers William Rosenbalm, Dallas Rosenbalm, Raymond Rosenbalm, Donald Rosenbalm and Douglas Rosenbalm and sisters Loyatha Hosey, Betty Snyder and Mary Martin.

Leolia was born in Bristol, Tennessee. Leolia was never far from her family which was her pride and joy. Leolia was known for both her strength and generosity. Her love for others was boundless which she lovingly demonstrated in many ways. She enjoyed making crotched gifts for others, playing tennis and supporting and cheering on her children and grandchildren. Leolia was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Garner.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home at 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. A private burial will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.
