Leona "Lee" Marshburn Bryan

Leona “Lee” Marshburn Bryan, 89, went home to her loving Savior’s arms, on September 30, 2023. Lee was the eldest of six children, born November 9, 1933, to Norman and Edna Naomi Crews Marshburn. She is preceded in death by her parents, four of her siblings, and her husband of 65 years, Wiley Barnes Bryan.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 12:00 pm, at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603.

Lee, lovingly known as “Nannie” to many who loved her, is survived by her children, Cindy Fadoil, Anne Bryan, and Bill Bryan (Wendy). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Porter, Kristen White (Michael), Patrick Bryan (Julie), Christopher Bryan (Marissa), and Candice Whitley (Eric); 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Kennedy; sisters-in-law, Daisy and Lillie Mae

Marshburn; and a very large, loving family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel in Topsail Beach, NC, Mid-Way Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC and Aversboro Road Baptist Church in Garner, NC.
