Lera Mae Pearce Guy

RALEIGH – Lera Mae Guy, 92, passed away at home with her family by her side on June 10, 2018. She was born March 14, 1926 in Franklin County, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Effie Pearce, 8 siblings, and her husband of 67 years, Lawrence S. Guy, Jr. She is survived by her 3 children: daughter, Pamela Watkins and husband, Ray; son, Mark Guy and wife, Jackie; daughter, Sandra Furlough and husband, Charles; her 7 grandchildren, Jena and fiancé, Jason; Haley; Crystal and husband, Yeeka; Daniel and wife, Sarah; Caleb and wife, Faith; Grayson and wife, Rachel; and Jacob. She also has 2 great grandchildren, Landon and Liam; with 3 more expected this year. Lera was a lifelong homemaker and had a love of flowers, nature and outdoors. She was a loving wife and adoring mother. She was extremely passionate about her ever-growing family. Visitation and funeral will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm.
