Leslie Les Wallace

RALEIGH-Leslie Les Wallace, 83, died Friday. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Oris Franklin Wallace and Mary Frances Brammer. He retired as a Master Sgt with the US Army, Special Forces, Green Beret. He went on to work with Southeastern Electronics for 20 years. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Monday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 8302 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC 27613. Burial with full military honors will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jo Boykin Wallace; son, Kenny Wallace and wife, Kim of Garner; sister, Mary Katherine Dillon of Columbus, OH; brother, Pete Wallace of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Kassiedee, Kaycee and Keylee; brother-in-law, Charles Boykin and wife, Carolyn and sister-in-law, Adell Boykin, all of Garner, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dago Wallace. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 pm Sunday at the church and at other times at the home.
