Willow Spring – Linda Adams Olive, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Cavie Adams. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Worth Adams and her sister, Jerry Sue McCoy. Linda is survived by her husband, Lloyd Olive; fur baby Maggie May; daughter, Martha Carol Fink and husband, Darrell; stepdaughter, Tonja Olive Ingram and husband, Martin; brother, Don Adams and wife, Janet; brother-in-law, Al McCoy; uncle, JoeJoe Adams and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Tucker Ingram, Landon Ellington, Elizabeth Ellington, Abbey Ellington, Sophie Ellington, Ira Ellington; nephews, Ronnie Olive and wife, Gypsy, Mark McCoy and wife, Sonja, Trent Adams, Lance Adams and wife, Julie; niece, Julie Bishop and husband, Dail; and many great and great-great nephews and great nieces. Linda retired from Universal Leaf in 2001 where she worked in accounting. After retiring she took care of her grandchildren and worked at a consignment shop until 2020. Linda Olive was that person that everyone needed in their lives. She was a mother, an aunt, a sister, a friend to everyone who met her. She gave unconditional love - and loved you just because you were you. Her smile and laugh could change your day in an instant. When you met her, you knew she was special, and you had been blessed to have crossed paths with her. Our world is a better place because we knew her. Through the lives that she has touched, she will continue to love, laugh, and live forever. Linda loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was always ready to help someone in need and passionate about a many great causes. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Kennebec Church, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:45 PM at the funeral home.
