Angier – Linda Carol Walters, 68, left to go fishing with her Lord on March 15, 2017. Along with her love of fishing, she loved planting and gardening, sharing her flowers with friends. She was a native of Ohio, Kentucky, working the coal mines of Kentucky. She was the first woman in Kentucky to work the underground coal mines. In her later years she was a professional truck driver, driving with her husband, Jeff. She was preceded in death by her father, Heaman Johnson, Jr. and her mother, Wanda Stevenson; brothers, Kevin Johnson and Mike Johnson. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Jeff Walters; sons, Samuel Hines, Jr. and wife, Jessica, and Edward Hines, both of Ohio, KY; grandchildren, Zachary, Jarod, Skylar and Steven; great-grandchild, Haley; brother, Jon Eric Johnson and wife, Michelle of Woodland, CA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Liberty Hospice, 150 Hunt Valley Dr., Dunn, NC 28334.
