Lloyd Dwight Adams

October 2, 1929 — December 7, 2017

RALEIGH-Lloyd Dwight Adams 88, died Dec. 7, 2017. A native of Johnston County, he is the son of the late Callie Lee and George Adams. Mr. Adams was employed with CP&L as an electric meter specialist, with 45 years of service. He began employment in 1948 and retired in 1993 with service broken only by 4 years of military service with the USAF. He was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Raleigh from 1965 to present. He served on most of the committees and as a deacon promoting our Lord’s command. Matthew 28:18-20. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5029 Old Stage Road, Raleigh NC 27603 with burial following at Knollwood Memorial Park. Surviving, Jean Adams; sons, Stephen and Kevin Adams; daughter-in-law, Erica Wilson Adams; grandchildren, Mika Adams, Crucita Adams and Ethan Adams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Moore, Bluma Fisher, Mallie Eason, Annie Merle Collier, Ruth Hawks; brother, William Adams. Family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner from 3:00-5:00 Sunday.
