Lois Aline Stuart

CLAYTON– Lois Aline Stuart, 92, passed away June 22, 2023. A native of Jefferson County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late William Bessinger Simmons and Crecy Hand. Lois was a loving mother and wife. She was kind and caring to anyone who crossed her path.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, William Bessinger Simmons, and Crecy Hand; husband, Bobby G. Stuart; son, Bobby Wayne Stuart; daughters, Reba Lynne Fowler, and Gloria Marguerite Aultman; and sister, Dorothy Marguerite Simmons.

Lois is survived by her loving daughter, Brenda Alice Phillips (Dwight); grandchildren, Kasey Faison, Tanya J. Fowler, T.J. Fowler, Travis Fowler, Jason Cantrell, Lindsey Stuart, and Mike Phillips; great grandchildren, Jacob Faison, Hannah Faison, Taylor Phillips, Karson Cantrell, Anthony Rice, Taj Fowler, Cyrus Fowler, Toby Stuart, Maddox Stuart, and Judah Stuart; great great grandchildren, Naomi Adams, SJ Adams, Weston Phillips, and Blakely Phillips.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 01, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM on July 01, 2023, an hour prior to the service.

The family is welcome to visitors during this time, and all are welcome to join the family for a period of fellowship after the memorial service at, 421 Winding Oak Way, Clayton, NC 27520.
