Lorene Conner

GARNER –Lorene Matilda Davis Conner, 80, died Tuesday. Born in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Davis and Dora Gibson. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Taylorsville City Cemetery, Taylorsville, NC. Survivors include daughters, Donna Hutton of Taylorsville and Lela Conner of Statesville; son, Edward Conner of Taylorsville; sisters, Maggie Bennett and Patsy Brayden, both of Garner, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Conner and her sister, Nona Presnell.
