Lottie Lloyd Yates

RALEIGH – Lottie Lloyd Yates, 75, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Vandora Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Garner. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Lottie was born in Wake County to the late Berry and Ruby Lloyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Yates; and sister, Pearl Harris. She is survived by her sons, Ricky Yates and wife, Angela of Wilmington, Leroy Reed Yates of Raleigh; sisters, Nina Barham of Wake Forest, Shirley Brown and husband, Ed of Roswell, GA, Ruth Young of Wake Forest, Cindy Weatherspoon and husband, Jimmy of Wendell; brother-in-law, R.L. Harris of Raleigh; grandchildren, Matthew, Jimmy, Brittany, Nicholas; and great grandchildren, Vanessa and Raymond.
