Loueen Slaughter Fogel

LILLINGTON-Loueen Slaughter Fogel, 70, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. In honoring Loueen’s request, there are no public ceremonies to be held. Loueen was born on December 24, 1947, to the late John Proctor and Frances Haynes Slaughter. She attended Meredith College in Raleigh for undergraduate education and later received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro. During her career, Loueen served as a school psychologist across central North Carolina, eventually retiring from Harnett County Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Haynes Forrester, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Fogel McKenna of Raleigh; son, Mark Haynes Fogel of Lillington; granddaughter, Olivia Sophia McKenna of Raleigh; and sister, Sharon Caviness of Greensboro.
