Louis D. Minkler

Louis D. Minkler of Raleigh, passed away October 12, 2017. He was 86. Born on September 12 in Kingston, NY, he was the son of the late Louis W. and Loretta C. Minkler (nee Brink). He is predeceased by his brothers Richard and William Minkler. Lou worked at IBM for 35 Years in manufacturing. He loved anything that had an engine; cars, planes and boats. He was a loving Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He is survived by his brother Frederick, nieces Lori German of N.J. and Michele LaMagna of Pa., his great nephews and niece Andrew and William German; Brayden and Mya LaMagna; his very dear friends Jan and Harriet Koot. Visitation will be on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27604 from 2 to 4pm; with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 4 pm. A second visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Keyser Funeral Home, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401 from 11am-12 pm. Interment will be immediately following at Mount Marion Cemetery, Saugerties, NY 12477.
