Louis Edward Alexander, Jr.

GARNER - Louis Edward Alexander, Jr. , 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 14, 2022. A life long resident of Wake County and an Army Reserve Veteran, he retired as a conductor with Seaboard Railroad in Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. Alexander Sr. and Juanita Padgett Alexander, as well as a sister, Juanita Faye Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Newsome Alexander; son, Louis E. Alexander III "Trey"; and granddaughters, Tristan and Melissa Alexander. Louis was a member of First Baptist Church in Garner and a frequent visitor of Just Jesus Community Church. He was involved with prison ministry and several other volunteer ministries. A memorial service will be held on March 5th at 2:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Garner. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Garner, 601 St. Mary St. Garner, NC 27529 or the American Heart Association, 5001 S Miami Blvd #300, Durham, NC 27703.
