Louis Edward Alexander, Jr.

GARNER - Louis Edward Alexander, Jr. , 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 14, 2022. A life long resident of Wake County and an Army Reserve Veteran, he retired as a conductor with Seaboard Railroad in Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. Alexander Sr. and Juanita Padgett Alexander, as well as a sister, Juanita Faye Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Newsome Alexander; son, Louis E. Alexander III "Trey"; and granddaughters, Tristan and Melissa Alexander. Louis was a member of First Baptist Church in Garner and a frequent visitor of Just Jesus Community Church. He was involved with prison ministry and several other volunteer ministries. A memorial service will be held on March 5th at 2:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Garner. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM prior to the service.
