Louis “L.H.” Williams, Jr.

FUQUAY-VARINA- Louis Hardester Williams, Jr, 83, passed away at his home on Tuesday. A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Louis Hardester Williams, Sr. and Ida Leonard Williams. L.H. was a retired safety specialist with the former Carolina Power and Light Company in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church, Angier. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors and masonic rites. L.H. is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nell Dupree Williams; daughter, Anna Prairie of Willow Spring; grandson, Ryan Jordan Prairie of Willow Spring; sister, Phyllis Kay Williams of Louisburg. In addition to his parents, L.H. is preceded in death by his brother, Lynn Williams. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Transitions LifeCare for the tremendous care that they gave L.H. throughout his illness.
