Louis M. Tingen, Jr.

Louis Maness Tingen, age 60, passed at home on June 20 th , 2019. He was born May 23 rd , 1959. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Maness Tingen Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mable Saunders Tingen; his four children Emily Tingen, Zachary Whitley, Michelle Gaines, and Sean Tingen; and three grandchildren. Louis was born in Person County, North Carolina. He was a devoted and loving father, served in the U.S Navy, and was a registered nurse with the NCDHHS. Louis loved spending time with his children, playing billiards, bowling, playing cornhole, and playing rook. Anyone who spent time with Louis knew that his laugh and smile were contagious. One thing everyone loved about Louis is that no matter who you were, he would always go out of his way to help you and never expect anything in return. He had character and a work ethic that is rare to find, and that can’t be replaced. He will truly be missed by all of his loved ones. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6pm-8pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC, 27529. The graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday at the Person Memorial Cemetery, Roxboro, NC.
