Louise Holder Holt

Raleigh Louise Holder Holt, age 95, of Snellville, GA, passed away September 6, 2016.  She had lived in Georgia the past five years to be near her immediate family.  The previous 60 years she had resided in Raleigh, NC, and was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Leon B. Holt; her parents, Zollie and Ollie Holder; her brother, Carlisle Holder; sisters Annie Mae Holt, Katie Richards and Marie Seal.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mike (Martha) Holt of Lilburn, GA; two granddaughters and husbands, Laura (Matt) Durell of Atlanta, GA, and Allison (Matt) Hines of Buford GA; four great-grandchildren, Ben Durell, Nina Durell, Rex Hines and Jackson Hines; sister, Addie Casey of Durham, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, September 12, at 1:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC, and the funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm.  Interment will be at Montlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Children’s Ministry or the charity of your choice.
