FUQUAY-VARINA – Louise Smith Moore, 89, met her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2018 to spend eternity with Him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Kennebec Baptist Church, Angier. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home, 1100 Pine Branch Dr. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Louise leaves behind to share her memory, her three children, daughter, Hilda Wilson of Fuquay-Varina; sons, Donnie Ray Moore of Fuquay-Varina, Steve Moore and wife, Cindy of Pittsboro; eleven grandchildren, Angie Sanders (Eddie), Dana Strickland (David), Lori Darden (Jeremy), Alisa Bulloch (Brian), Danny Wilson, Jr. (Julie), Jennie Sears (Jason), Jake Moore (Hillary), Kevin Moore, April Coletta (Nathan), Heather Moody (David), Jeremy Moore (Maria); she also leaves twenty one great-grandchildren. At the age of 50 she obtained her real estate license and worked in real estate until she retired. She always preferred being outside and as long as she was able, her great pleasure was to sit on her deck in the sun. We would like to give special thanks to Brenda McClain and Wanda Tanner for the special care they gave her during her illness. We appreciate all they did for her. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Transitions LifeCare for the amazing care they gave Louise in her last days.
