Mable Keene Walton

Raleigh - Mable Keene Walton, 92, died Thursday. A native of Johnston Co., she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Barbour Keene. Mable spent her entire life caring not only for her family but all the people she loved.Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Chapel, Raleigh, with burial to follow at Montlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.She was predeceased by her husband Shelton Walton, her brother James Keene and sister Willie MacCord. Surviving are her son, Harry A. Walton and Fiance Pat Walton of Raleigh; sister, Juanita Creech of Richmond; Grandsons, Tony Walton and friend Kim Ramsauer; Brandon Walton and friend Melissa Edwards, of Raleigh.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake Co., 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC, 27607 or a charity of your choice.Arrangements are with Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road and condolences may be sent to the family at www.bryan-leefuneralhome.com.
