Magdalene Francis Talton

RALEIGH – Magdalene Francis Talton, 80, passed away Thursday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Alan Francis and Lessie Lee Johnson Francis. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Mt. Herman Christian Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner and at other times at the home. Survivors include her daughters, Jenny Hughes (Chris) of Knightdale and Debbie Garbett (Vern) of Coats; sister, Alene Walton (Glen) and Joan Clarke, who was like a sister, all of Garner; daughter-in-law, Peggy Talton; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Pete” Talton and her son, Ricky Alan Talton.
