Dec. 14, 1914 - Jan. 16, 2012ANGIER -Mamie Capps Ennis, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, surrounded by her family at Brookfield Assisted Living in Lillington, NC. She was the daughter of the late Razzy and Amanda Catherine Glover Capps.Funeral Service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, NC.The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:30 PM immediately after the service with interment to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband of 72 years, Sexton Walter Ennis and her son, Talley Sexton Ennis of Garner.She is survived by her loving and faithful daughter, Gail E. Coleman and husband Wayne of Greensboro, daughter-in-love, Shirley W. Ennis of Garner; grandchildren, Jan E. Fjelsted and husband, Paul of Garner, Steve Ennis and wife, Laura of Virginia Beach, VA., Ron Coleman and wife, Judy of Duluth, GA., Cathy Coleman Gellatly and husband, Jim of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Shannon Dickerson and husband, Roger of Raleigh, Heather Benson of Clayton, Carmen Denton and husband, Billy of Clayton, Keith, Andrew and Kaylee Coleman of Duluth, GA., Matt and Kyle Gellatly of Raleigh, Dalton and Logan Ennis of Virginia Beach, VA.; great-great-grandchildren, Austin and Bryce Dickerson of Raleigh, Noah Benson of Clayton, and Jacob and Jayce Denton of Clayton.The family will be at the Ennis Homeplace, 491 Matthews Mill Pond Road, Angier.Flowers are appreciated and in honor of hospice care, contributions may be given to Hospice of Harnett/Wake Counties, 111 -A North Ellis Ave., Dunn, NC 28334.Our family wishes to thank all the hands and hearts that touched Mamie; and the greatest gift to honor the blessed life of Mamie Ennis is by giving an 'I love you' to someone today.Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
