Marc Allen Kraus

December 15, 1946 — August 25, 2024

RALEIGH – Marc Allen Kraus, 77, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2024. He was born in Westchester County, New York, on December 15, 1946, and was the son of the late Jerome Kraus, and Claire Kraus.


In addition to his parents, Marc is preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Kraus, and Edward Kraus, all of whom Marc loved very dearly.


Marc was a loving husband, brother, and uncle. On July 6, 1998, he married the love of his life and best friend, Eileen Kraus, spending 26 memorable years together. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends as a man of great charisma, compassion, and strength.


Marc is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Kraus; brother, Dr. David Kraus of California; brother-in-law, Stephen Kleimann of Raleigh; niece, Kari Fitzpatrick and husband, Jeremy of Hillsborough; and nephew, James Kleimann and wife, Cecily of Brooklyn.


The family will receive friends for a period of visitation on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.
